Job description
Careem is looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead the development of an AI-native Growth Engine focused on personalisation and recommendation. This role will drive the architecture and deployment of Careemās Next Best Action Engine, combining real-time behavioral data, LLMs, reinforcement learning, and AI-driven lifecycle optimization. You will work cross-functionally with engineering, data science, and marketing teams to deliver a system that can dynamically orchestrate and personalize user engagement across all phases of the customer journey. This is a pivotal leadership opportunity for someone with a passion for AI-driven product innovation in high-growth B2C platforms.

Key responsibilities
- Architect and lead the product development of the Next Best Action Engine (NBA), integrating real-time signals, predictive models, reinforcement learning, and LLM-based personalization.
- Translate customer behavior insights into programmable journeys across product surfaces, CRM, and marketing automation.
- Define infrastructure and UX requirements for autonomous orchestration including fallback logic, explainability, and agentic flows.
- Partner with ML/LLM teams to integrate hybrid AI stacks (scoring models, embedding retrieval, agentic flows) at scale.
- Own the roadmap for end-to-end integration into CDPs, notification systems, experimentation layers, and analytics pipelines.
- Collaborate with marketing, engineering, data science, and ops to scale AI-driven interventions for growth.
- Drive personalization infrastructure and automation to optimize acquisition, engagement, and retention loops.
Experience & skills
- 5+ years of product leadership experience in AI-powered systems or personalization at scale.
- Experience building Next Best Action engines or autonomous lifecycle automation platforms.
- Strong working knowledge of LLMs, memory architectures, retrieval pipelines, and prompt engineering.
- Proven experience with CDP and mar-tech stack integrations (e.g., Braze, Iterable).
- Experience managing cross-functional teams including ML engineers, infra architects, and marketing teams.
- Deep fluency in ML workflows: supervised learning, clustering, propensity modeling, causal impact analysis.
- Belief in productized intelligenceāAI systems that autonomously adapt and drive business outcomes.
