Job description
The Assistant Manager – Retail Leasing at Dubai Holding Asset Management supports the retail leasing function across a portfolio of landmark retail destinations and residential communities in Dubai. The role contributes to budget preparation by providing inputs related to vacant units, leasing timelines, potential terminations, and non-renewals, and coordinates with collections teams to ensure accurate and timely receipt of rents, deposits, and leasing fees. The position performs comprehensive leasing administration, including document execution, file setup, correspondence preparation, and lease tracking. The role supports the Head of Retail Leasing and other departments to ensure tenant proposals comply with company guidelines, budgets, and approval frameworks. It coordinates with Legal for standardized tenancy contracts within federal law, manages lease documentation, renewals, summaries, and client clarifications, and sources prospective tenants while negotiating leasing deals from lead generation to final execution and committee approval. The role maintains physical and digital lease files, updates document management systems, prepares reports, memos, and RAFs per DOA requirements, manages sales force inventory data, validates lease agreements, creates tenant profiles, develops client relationships, conducts market and competitive analysis, prepares property performance reports, supports senior leasing leadership, conducts site visits and presentations, and assesses leasing risks while implementing mitigation tactics.

- Coordinate with collections teams to ensure accurate and timely collection of rents, deposits, and leasing fees
- Perform leasing administrative duties including document execution, correspondence, and file management
- Support retail leasing leadership to ensure tenant proposals comply with guidelines, budgets, and approval requirements
- Coordinate with Legal to prepare and standardize tenancy contracts in line with federal law
- Track lease contracts, manage renewals, prepare lease summaries, and liaise with clients for approvals
- Source prospective tenants, generate leasing leads, and negotiate leasing deals through execution and committee approval
- Maintain accurate physical and digital lease files and update lease document management systems
- Prepare reports, memos, and RAFs for senior management review and DOA approvals
- Maintain sales force data, inventory records, tenant profiles, and validate lease agreements
- Develop and manage client relationships to exceed service delivery expectations
- Conduct market analysis, competitive leasing trend reviews, site visits, and tenant presentations
- Assess ongoing leasing issues and recommend and implement risk mitigation strategies
