Job description
The Assistant Manager – eLearning role is based at the organization’s Headquarters in DAFZA, Dubai Airport Freezone, and is part of the Onboarding team. The role is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality eLearning content for the organization’s in-house Learning Management System (LMS). This includes creating and editing online educational materials, developing structured courses and curricula, and ensuring all content aligns with organizational objectives and digital training paths. The position involves close collaboration with training specialists, departments, and experienced training facilitators to support a diverse, multilingual workforce through engaging and interactive learning experiences. The role manages online learning communities, handles learner queries, and provides course statistics, feedback, and score analysis to stakeholders to improve training effectiveness, resource allocation, and potentially reduce training costs through effective eLearning solutions. Responsibilities include maintaining best practices in instructional design, experimenting with new adult learning and blended learning delivery methodologies, and continuously analyzing, updating, and refining online content to remain aligned with industry standards. The role also involves troubleshooting technical issues reported by users in coordination with technical staff, ensuring seamless learning experiences, and ensuring compliance with relevant training and development regulations and standards. The position requires strong expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, Articulate 360, LMS administration, learning analytics, and instructional design methodologies, along with the ability to contribute to innovation in digital learning delivery within a corporate training environment.
Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop eLearning courses and curricula for the in-house Learning Management System to support onboarding and organizational training objectives
- Edit, create, and maintain high-quality online educational materials ensuring relevance, accuracy, and instructional design best practices
- Provide detailed course statistics, feedback, and score analysis to stakeholders to enhance training effectiveness and optimize resource allocation
- Collaborate with training specialists and departments to align learning objectives, content, and digital training pathways
- Manage online learning communities and respond to learner queries to improve engagement and satisfaction
- Troubleshoot LMS and eLearning content issues in collaboration with technical staff to ensure uninterrupted learning experiences
- Ensure eLearning content and delivery comply with applicable training, development, and regulatory standards
- Experiment with new adult learning and blended learning delivery methodologies to continuously improve learner experience
- Analyze, update, and refine existing eLearning content to maintain alignment with current instructional design and industry best practices
Experience & skills
- Hold a graduate degree in Human Resources, Education, or a related field
- Have 5–7 years of experience working in a Learning and Development or training department
- Possess Transguard EPT Level 5 qualification
- Demonstrate strong expertise in Adobe Creative Suite for eLearning content development
- Have working knowledge of eLearning authoring tools such as Articulate 360
- Hold a CIPD certification or demonstrate eligibility as a preferred qualification
