Job description
The role focuses on managing process excellence and automation within the Customer & Channels function, emphasizing continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma, process modeling, process architecture, and Robotic Process Automation. The mandate includes creating and maintaining documentation, project plans, and task statuses, revising established process models and methodologies semi-annually, and applying Lean Six Sigma tools to identify bottlenecks, root causes, and improvement opportunities within assigned business verticals. The specialist is responsible for facilitating cross-functional process review projects, partnering with process owners to define, document, measure, analyze, improve, and control business processes. The position involves driving the development of process heat maps to support process re-engineering projects with quantifiable business benefits, advocating continuous process improvement across the company, and initiating Robotic Process Automation where applicable. The role requires experience in process development, improvement initiatives, and telecommunications, combined with consulting skills such as facilitation, workshop preparation, and requirements capture, as well as understanding of business and IT intersections.

Key responsibilities
- Create and maintain documentation, project plans, and task status reports within the designated work stream.
- Undertake half-yearly revisions of established process models, architecture, and methodologies, performing updates as required.
- Learn and apply Lean Six Sigma concepts and tools to identify process issues, bottlenecks, root causes, and improvement opportunities.
- Manage an assigned business vertical to build awareness of process excellence and Lean Six Sigma methodology.
- Facilitate cross-functional process review projects and communicate progress to management.
- Collaborate with process owners to define, document, measure, analyze, improve, and control business processes.
- Work with operational teams to drive and deliver process heat maps that support process re-engineering with quantifiable business benefits.
- Identify and execute continuous process improvement initiatives across the company.
- Act as an advocate for continuous process improvement, including initiating Robotic Process Automation where applicable.
Experience & skills
- Hold a Bachelor of Science degree in business, computer science, engineering, or related fields.
- Possess 3–5 years of experience in process development and management.
- Demonstrate experience in improvement initiatives.
- Have experience in the telecommunications industry or a relevant field.
- Apply consulting skills including facilitation, workshop preparation, and requirements capture.
- Show understanding of the business and IT intersection.
- Possess project management experience as a plus.
- Demonstrate proficiency in English, with Arabic preferred.
