Job description
The Cloud & AI Platform Finance Manager partners with business leaders across the Middle East cluster (Qatar, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia) to drive Azure Consumed Revenue (ACR) growth and provide actionable financial insights. This role involves deep analytics on consumption, forecasting, budgeting, and business reporting to support STU and CSU leadership. The position requires close collaboration with segment finance managers, CFOs, and HQ finance teams, ensuring compliance and forward-looking insights. The role emphasizes digital transformation in finance, customer engagement, and leveraging data-driven storytelling to influence decision-making.

Key responsibilities
- Drive ACR growth in the region through deep forward and backward-looking analytics.
- Provide actionable insights to Segment Finance managers and CFOs.
- Analyze ACR performance and growth trajectory for key customers.
- Serve as the key finance contact for HQ finance and provide finance content for ACR ROB.
- Lead planning, budgeting, forecasting, and outlook processes.
- Deliver insights and actions on key ACR motions including migrations, Data & AI, and MACC to ACR.
- Leverage corporate models and community best practices for analytics and insights.
- Accountable for executive insights on deviations from forecast based on drivers and trends.
- Ensure compliance with STU and CSU leadership, with focus on consumption.
- Drive a growth mindset culture, acting as an entrepreneurial partner delivering business impact.
- Promote digital transformation within finance for forward-looking, data-driven insights.
- Engage directly with customers and partners, simplifying insights through storytelling.
Experience & skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or related field.
- Master’s degree in Business Administration preferred.
- Extensive experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership, or finance.
- Strong analytical skills and business acumen.
- Strategic and critical thinker with solutions delivery or finance business development experience preferred.
- Strong collaboration and teamwork capability, including virtual engagement.
- Advanced communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
- Proven ability to work with senior business leaders.
- Industry experience preferred but not required.
- Willingness to be based in or relocate to Qatar, Kuwait, or Saudi Arabia.
