Job description
The Assistant Manager - Cash Operations in Dubai supports the Manager - Cash Operations for Dubai and Northern Emirates in managing, organizing, and controlling cash operations to ensure safe, timely, and high-quality service delivery. The role involves planning operational and administrative functions, overseeing staff management and training, optimizing workflows, addressing customer issues, and ensuring compliance with security and safety standards. The position also requires managing routes, services, and large operational teams to achieve SLA targets and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities
- Identify process and procedure improvements to increase efficiency and productivity
- Collect and analyze operational performance data and generate reports
- Support planning and monitoring of expenses for cost-effective operations
- Address customer inquiries and ensure high levels of satisfaction
- Coordinate with internal sub-business units and other departments for workflow optimization
- Attend customer meetings as required
- Assist in planning and executing daily cash operations in Dubai and Northern Emirates
- Deputize in absence of the Operations Manager
- Lead staff training and development sessions and enforce discipline and SOP compliance
- Plan and coordinate geographical routes and services to achieve SLA targets
- Ensure leave planning, rostering, and availability for 900+ staff
- Support management of 200+ armored van teams performing 6300+ daily services
- Manage back office and field activities as directed
- Promote continuous improvement and adopt innovative strategies
- Explore workplace technologies to boost productivity and enhance employee experience
- Encourage staff-driven improvement initiatives
- Initiate new guidelines and processes for operational improvements
Experience & skills
- 7 years of experience in the Security industry, Military, or Police
- 5 years of relevant UAE industry experience
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree
- Knowledge of cash in transit operations and ATMs technical systems
- Experience with Trans Track, ServiceNow, and Cash Web Community software
- Valid UAE driving license
- Police clearance certificate
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong reporting and customer management skills
- Knowledge of UAE security industry regulations
- Good communication and time management skills
