Job description
The role of Specialist - Interface is responsible for managing and overseeing interfaces between dry and wet utilities, infrastructure, various assets, buildings, plots, and the masterplan land use. The specialist monitors utility interfaces during design, delivery, and commissioning of generation, transmission, and distribution networks with emphasis on renewable energy. The role involves interface management across multiple utility types, coordination across TRSUC and RSG departments, and ensuring adherence to technical, quality, and business standards.

Key responsibilities
- Support in the execution and implementation of interface management strategies and plans for the dry and wet utilities project during planning, tender preparation, bidding, design, construction, commissioning, and testing phases.
- Support the Integration Manager on all interface-related issues between Project Companies, Customer, and vendors.
- Contribute to interfaces between utility generation assets and transmission and distribution networks.
- Review interface management design and construction documents.
- Proactively manage interfaces with internal and external stakeholders.
- Initiate and coordinate interface management meetings.
- Maintain interface documentation as per interface management plans.
- Compile and track interfaces across PPP and Contractors.
- Monitor and control projects with cost and planning management teams.
- Conduct commissioning and various testing phases to ensure compliance before acceptance certificates are issued.
- Plan upcoming work with consultants and subconsultants.
- Resolve and report interface management issues during engineering and construction phases.
- Provide technical support to TRSUC functions.
- Employ preventative risk methods to avoid delays and costs.
- Assist in preparation and monitoring of functional budgets.
- Assist in preparing accurate reports and statements.
- Conduct interface activities efficiently with the technical services team.
- Serve as a role model for TRSUCās and RSGās values and strategy.
- Work towards achieving performance and productivity goals.
- Engage in training and development opportunities.
- Follow all relevant corporate functional policies and procedures.
- Support preparation of functional MIS reports.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
- Identify and apply opportunities for process improvement.
Experience & skills
- Bachelorās degree in civil, electrical, mechanical engineering, or related field
- 2-4 years of relevant experience
- Experience in KSA and GCC countries
- Knowledge and experience in smart sustainable utilities infrastructure (preferred)
