Job description
Small Enterprise clients in the business communities around the bank's branches make up the portfolio for this Business Banking Relationship Manager in the UAE. Part of it is inherited, including relationships handed over by DS and those moved down from the ME team, and part of it you build yourself from walk-ins and new-to-bank leads. The goal is to become the primary bank for each client, growing share of wallet through cross-selling, up-selling and deep-selling across borrowing and non-borrowing needs. Credit is a big part of the job. Annual and periodic facility reviews, recommendations in line with credit policy, stock inspections, call reports and early rectification of account conduct issues all keep the portfolio sound. KYC reviews and AML procedures sit with you as well. When a client outgrows the SE segment, you profile their needs and move them up to ME. Weekly updates go to the branch manager and regional SE manager, and SSOs on the team look to you for on-the-job development. At least 4 years of relevant banking experience is required, with working knowledge of credit, trade, operating systems and legal matters, and an MBA or CA, or a degree backed by solid experience.
