Job description
This role will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and strategic development of immigration processes in the region. The successful candidate will manage a small team, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and a high standard of program delivery for cross-border mobility and workforce planning initiatives.

Key responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and manage a small to medium team of immigration professionals.
- Serve as the in-house expert on Middle East immigration laws, policies, and procedures.
- Ensure full compliance with immigration laws and government regulations across Middle Eastern countries.
- Monitor regulatory changes, assess risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Develop and implement strategic immigration policies and processes for the Middle East region.
- Partner with HR, Talent Acquisition, Legal, and business leaders to support workforce planning and mobility.
- Streamline immigration processes to enhance efficiency and improve employee experience.
- Track immigration metrics and generate regular reports with insights for leadership.
- Provide guidance and training to business stakeholders on evolving immigration practices.
- Lead organizational readiness for regulatory changes and immigration reforms.
- Maintain compliance with mobility standards and internal policies.
Experience & skills
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's or law degree preferred.
- 5+ years experience in Global Mobility, Immigration, or HR roles.
- Proven experience managing immigration or global mobility in the Middle East.
- Strong team leadership and management capabilities.
- Excellent understanding of Middle East immigration laws and procedures.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strategic thinking and operational execution skills.
- Fluency in Arabic and English.
- Knowledge of industry best practices in immigration.
- Proficiency in case management systems and continuous improvement methods.
