Job description
This is a senior-level technical and client-facing role responsible for leading immigration engagements within Deloitteās Global Employer Services practice in Saudi Arabia. The Manager oversees end-to-end immigration processes, ensuring regulatory compliance, high-quality advisory, and flawless delivery across consular and in-country stages. They act as the primary relationship manager for sensitive and high-value clients, resolving escalations, managing expectations, and guiding decision-making through technical clarity. Responsibilities include drafting advanced immigration memos, identifying risks clients may not recognize, delivering multi-issue advisory, and managing engagements across multiple jurisdictions. The role demands leadership across delivery, financial management, team coaching, and business development. Additional requirements include networking with government entities, embassies, and third-party vendors, contributing to thought leadership, and expanding Deloitte's service offerings in the region.
Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Lead immigration engagements from initiation through completion, managing stakeholders, timelines, and compliance risks.
- Interpret and apply Saudi immigration laws, regulations, and future legislative changes to client scenarios.
- Prepare and review immigration advisory memos covering multi-layered technical issues.
- Supervise, delegate, and quality-review team deliverables while mentoring junior staff.
- Manage client relationships, including escalations, negotiations, and SLA-sensitive interactions.
- Ensure timely billing, WIP management, and revenue monitoring across engagements.
- Analyze immigration data to spot inconsistencies, risks, and process gaps.
- Conduct meetings and advisory sessions with clients to scope additional work and propose tailored solutions.
- Collaborate with overseas Deloitte offices and integrate cross-service line expertise into deliverables.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with government departments, embassies, and third-party providers.
- Produce thought leadership materials, alerts, and participate in BD events.
- Support business development by identifying opportunities, proposing solutions, and contributing to account strategy.
- Monitor compliance and ensure firmwide methodologies, policies, and standards are consistently applied.
- Coach and mentor junior staff, promoting quality, consistency, and process discipline.
- Stay updated on labor law, payroll, and regulatory trends impacting immigration in KSA.
Experience & skills
- 3ā5 years of technical immigration experience in Saudi Arabia.
- Experience with a Big 4, law firm, or large multinational immigration function.
- Bachelorās degree in Law or Business (Law preferred).
- Strong working knowledge of KSA immigration and business laws.
- Demonstrated experience managing multi-jurisdictional immigration cases.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; bilingual Arabic/English strongly preferred.
- Superior research and analytical skills, with ability to produce high-quality advisory.
- Evidence of project management, client management, and team leadership.
- Experience handling high-pressure, time-sensitive deliverables.
- Commercial awareness and ability to contribute to business development initiatives.
