Job description
The Security Manager is responsible for ensuring the safety, security, and well-being of guests, staff, and property in line with Accor Group standards. This includes managing security personnel, overseeing surveillance and emergency procedures, conducting investigations, and maintaining high operational standards across all security functions. The role demands a proactive and vigilant approach, excellent leadership, and the ability to respond effectively to any incidents or emergencies within the hotel environment.

Key responsibilities
- Train and supervise Security Officers in surveillance, reporting, record-keeping, patrols, and first aid
- Disseminate management directives and ensure compliance among all security personnel
- Conduct regular patrols and checks to ensure Security Officers are performing duties efficiently
- Lead criminal investigations, prepare investigation reports, and escalate cases as necessary
- Monitor hotel staff compliance with House Rules and track suspect movements during investigations
- Coordinate emergency responses including fire, bomb threats, police assistance, and medical emergencies
- Inspect and maintain all security equipment, ensuring functionality and proper camera coverage
- Conduct daily checks of security logs, passes, keys, and registers
- Allocate posts for hotel and external security personnel to ensure adequate coverage
- Develop intelligence networks to obtain information for prevention and detection of security risks
- Record departmental activities in Daily Security Reports and update management regularly
- Provide security coverage for VIP guests and critical events
- Remain on-call, including off-duty hours, to respond to emergencies promptly
Experience & skills
- Saudi National with valid legal work status in Saudi Arabia
- Secondary / High School education
- Certificates in National Skills Recognition System, CPR, First Aid, and Basic Fire Fighting
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a security supervisory role within hospitality or similar settings
- Proficient in English (reading, writing, and oral communication)
- Strong leadership, coordination, and crisis management skills
- Ability to work flexible hours and respond to emergencies
- Clean criminal record and adherence to ethical standards
