Power Generation Manager II (Operations & Maintenance)

Manages Power Generation operations within the assigned area of responsibility, leading a team responsible for all aspects of generator operation, including troubleshooting, repair, installation, and maintenance. Ensures compliance with contract requirements, safety and quality standards, equipment specifications, schedules, and cost control measures. Coordinates the supervision, staffing, materials, and equipment required to meet operational goals within budget. Oversees the use of electronic work order systems and ensures accurate documentation for equipment service and maintenance. Maintains open communication with site management and functional leaders regarding project status and requirements. Implements a strong safety culture and ensures all personnel are trained in work specifications and procedures. Performs subordinate duties when needed. Work environments may vary from office settings to field sites with challenging conditions. Ensures monthly, quarterly, and semi-annual preventive maintenance schedules for diesel, gas generators, prime power units, and light carts. Maintains detailed logs and materials to support preventive maintenance and continuity. Services automatic transfer panels semi-annually. Must have technical skills and physical capability to execute assigned functions. Fluor requires English proficiency at an intermediate level, a Secret Security Clearance, and U.S. citizenship. Preferred qualifications include EGSA Journeyman Certification, Power Pro Technician Certification, and prior military or contingency experience.
