The Content Manager for Primark within Alshaya UAE is responsible for delivering all new brand prioritized content features assigned to the central team and driving overall information architecture aligned to Primark brand requirements. The role involves advising on best practice online content guidelines, training brand teams, and managing numerous workload streams from internal stakeholders, third-party partners, and host brands within strict deadlines. The position holds full ownership of site content and information architecture across Alshaya’s host brand websites, ensuring delivery of excellent customer experience across all market sites. The role drives editorial content requirements across business teams, host brands, and eCommerce functions, manages ongoing implementation of web content, and oversees simultaneous project execution while setting quality assurance standards and best practices. Responsibilities include improving content templates for tactical landing pages and promotional pages supporting campaign activities, providing functional expertise in usability testing, information architecture, product architecture, and copy management during UAT, and supporting online content management across promotions, web analytics, writing and editing for web, digital trends, social media platforms, content management systems, and image-editing software. The role requires working within budgets and strict timelines while ensuring content is managed in a timely, accurate, relevant, and consistent manner. The Content Manager evaluates web content production trends, researches new technologies and tools to minimize expenses, and manage operational costs. Additional responsibilities include maintaining adherence to company policies and procedures, creating departmental policies to improve operational efficiency, building strong relationships with internal teams, external agencies, and suppliers, managing development timelines and deliverables, liaising with creative teams to ensure content standards, communicating brand standards to web content executives, and approving content usage to ensure compliance with Alshaya standards. The role requires degree-level education, knowledge of CMS systems, editorial background, responsive design expertise, and experience managing multiple brands. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of content management experience, experience managing at least one team member, knowledge of best practice standards, and technical proficiency with Adobe Suite, CRM software, FTP, user-centered content design, usability testing, content information structure and architecture, copy management, and UAT.
