The Restaurant Manager is responsible for leading all aspects of restaurant operations to deliver exceptional guest experiences while ensuring operational excellence, financial performance, food safety, and compliance with company and regulatory standards. The role oversees the day-to-day management of restaurant operations across every shift, ensuring efficient service delivery, high standards of food quality and presentation, excellent customer service, and consistent adherence to brand SOPs. The position is accountable for maintaining full compliance with Dubai Municipality regulations, HACCP requirements, food safety standards, hygiene protocols, and all operational policies. The Restaurant Manager leads both Front of House (FOH) and Back of House (BOH) teams consisting of more than 15 employees by recruiting, onboarding, scheduling, coaching, training, evaluating performance, and fostering a high-performance culture with strong employee engagement and low staff turnover. Financial accountability includes managing restaurant profitability through P&L management, COGS control, inventory management, wastage reduction, labour cost optimisation, expense control, sales growth initiatives, upselling strategies, and local store marketing campaigns. The role monitors daily sales performance, stock movements, inventory levels, labour productivity, and financial KPIs while preparing weekly and monthly operational reports covering sales, labour costs, inventory variance, and stock performance. Administrative responsibilities include maintaining current business licenses, permits, employee certifications, cash handling procedures, POS reconciliation, petty cash records, supplier coordination, procurement activities, facilities maintenance, and operational documentation. The position works closely with suppliers, facilities teams, procurement teams, and corporate support functions to maintain uninterrupted operations while ensuring safety protocols, visual merchandising standards, and brand consistency. The ideal candidate possesses experience managing casual dining or QSR operations within the UAE or GCC, supported by expertise in Restaurant Operations, P&L Management, Inventory Control, POS Systems, HACCP Level 3, PIC Certification, Basic Food Hygiene, and compliance with Dubai Municipality regulations. Fluency in English is required, Hindi is advantageous, and a valid UAE driving licence is considered an additional benefit.
