The Airport Talent Pool - Project Director role is responsible for leading and delivering large-scale airport and infrastructure programs across the Middle East, ensuring alignment with client requirements, contractual obligations, and international standards. The position oversees all Project Management Consultancy (PMC) functions including planning, design coordination, budgeting, risk management, resource management, and performance monitoring to achieve timely, cost-effective, and high-quality project outcomes. The role provides strategic leadership, stakeholder engagement, and team direction while driving performance, compliance, and successful delivery in complex, high-pressure environments. The Project Director sets overall program direction, manages deliverables across all functions as per contractual scope, and fulfills client needs and requirements. Responsibilities include developing and implementing comprehensive PMC plans, policies, and procedures, participating in planning and design alternatives, coordinating with client representatives regarding project progress, and implementing standardized project management and business analysis practices. The role requires overseeing project budgets, fiscal controls, contracts, quality control provisions, cost estimates, and financial management including risk considerations. The Project Director directs work sequencing, inspects and approves completed works, ensures compliance with institutional standards, building and life safety codes, and architectural and engineering specifications. The role involves evaluating project status reports, presenting executive-level updates, overseeing day-to-day construction management, leading resource and capacity management, and ensuring compliance with quality, environmental, safety, and occupational health policies. The role requires extensive experience managing large-scale airport infrastructure, mega infrastructure, building, and architectural projects, working with international consultants, and operating in GCC environments.
