The Retail Manager – Luxury Multi-Store Operations at Minimalist.ae is responsible for overseeing the overall commercial and operational performance of multiple retail stores across the United Arab Emirates. Founded in 2016 in Dubai, Minimalist.ae designs and manufactures elegant, high-quality watches, jewelry, handbags, perfumes, and leather goods, with Arabic numeral watches recognized for their timeless appeal. The role focuses on strategic direction, capability building, and operational consistency across all UAE stores rather than daily in-store execution. The Retail Manager sets clear performance expectations, manages UAE sales targets, budgets, and forecasts, and ensures consistent luxury brand standards and customer experience across all locations. The position supports and delivers the UAE retail growth strategy, leads new store openings, relocations, and expansions, and manages pre-opening activities including store readiness, staffing plans, and operational setup. The role requires providing market insights related to customer behavior, mall performance, and competitive activity, while working closely with Store Managers to improve commercial results and address operational, people, or performance concerns. Responsibilities include developing Store Managers and Sales Executives, setting clear KPIs, conducting regular performance reviews, managing complex people and performance decisions, and supporting retail recruitment. The Retail Manager ensures strong product knowledge and luxury selling standards, coaches Store Managers in team leadership, maintains structured training and development programs, and enforces company policies and brand standards. Operational oversight includes reviewing stock performance, identifying key stock risks at area level, and ensuring visual merchandising consistency through audits and reviews. The role requires 10+ years in luxury retail including 5+ years in multi-store leadership, a strong understanding of luxury retail strategy, understanding of Emirati culture and personality, and fluency in Arabic and English.
