Specialist, Risk Management and Business Continuity Management

EDGE Group PJSC is seeking a Specialist, Risk Management and Business Continuity Management (BCM) to support the development, implementation, maintenance, monitoring, and continual improvement of the organization's Enterprise Risk Management and Business Continuity Management framework. The role is responsible for drafting, reviewing, updating, and maintaining risk management policies, business continuity procedures, supporting documentation, and integrated management system records while ensuring alignment with ISO 31000 Risk Management, ISO 22301 Business Continuity Management, document-control governance, and applicable organizational and regulatory requirements. The position supports Business Impact Analysis (BIA) activities, develops and maintains Business Continuity Plans (BCPs), Crisis Management Plans (CMPs), Disaster Recovery Plans (DRPs), and maintains risk and BCM registers, ensuring documentation is current, traceable, version-controlled, properly owned, periodically reviewed, and fit for operational requirements. The specialist collaborates extensively with department heads, process owners, customers, regulatory authorities, and key stakeholders to ensure Risk and BCM requirements are effectively implemented, monitored, communicated, and embedded throughout the organization. Responsibilities include monitoring implementation of the Risk and BCM Framework, preparing scheduled reports, planning and conducting business continuity testing and exercises, evaluating BCM effectiveness, documenting lessons learned, driving corrective actions, and supporting continual improvement initiatives that strengthen organizational resilience and risk awareness. The role serves as a first-level subject matter expert (SME), providing advisory support to department heads, process owners, senior leadership, and the Risk and BCM Management System owner on enterprise risk, business continuity, resilience, governance, compliance, and operational decision-making. The position also contributes risk inputs to projects, operational processes, strategic decisions, and management reporting while maintaining confidentiality and security of company documentation. Candidates should possess expertise in Enterprise Risk Management, Business Continuity Management (BCM), Business Impact Analysis (BIA), Business Continuity Plans (BCPs), Crisis Management Plans (CMPs), Disaster Recovery Plans (DRPs), ISO 31000, ISO 22301, Integrated Management Systems (IMS), Internal Audit, IIA IPPF, Risk-Based Auditing, Controls Evaluation, Audit Reporting, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Visio, Technical Writing, Document Control, Risk Registers, stakeholder engagement, compliance, governance, and continuous improvement within regulated industries such as defense, aerospace, or manufacturing.
