The Project Manager – Infrastructure Projects role based in Oman is responsible for the end-to-end delivery and governance of infrastructure initiatives including bank branches, ATMs, and related physical infrastructure projects. The role operates within the Infrastructure Projects & Maintenance (IPM) department under Support Services and reports to the Head of Infrastructure Project & Maintenance. The position ensures that all projects are delivered within approved scope, budget, timeline, and regulatory requirements while maintaining strict adherence to governance frameworks and organizational standards. The Project Manager oversees project execution from initiation to handover, ensuring quality standards, technical specifications, and operational requirements are met consistently. The role involves monitoring project milestones, proactively identifying risks, delays, and cost overruns, and implementing corrective actions to maintain project performance. It includes managing contractors and consultants, ensuring accountability, and validating project layouts to align with business needs, operational efficiency, brand standards, and compliance requirements. The position requires strong governance and reporting capabilities, including maintaining accurate project documentation, MIS records, and reviewing periodic reports submitted by project managers. The role ensures compliance with internal audit requirements, regulatory obligations, and financial controls, including monitoring purchase orders, payment cycles, requisitions, and variation orders. It also includes reviewing and approving BOQs, cost estimates, technical drawings, and contractual documentation prior to execution. The Project Manager serves as a key stakeholder liaison between internal departments such as Business, Procurement, Lease Management, Compliance, and Risk, as well as external authorities including regulatory bodies such as CBO, ROP, and Civil Defense. Additionally, the role involves leadership responsibilities including mentoring project teams, conducting performance reviews, ensuring adherence to structured workflows, and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Strong communication skills in both Arabic and English are required, along with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of delivery and financial discipline.
