Al-Futtaim Automotive, part of the Al-Futtaim Group, is seeking an Inventory Manager to join the Honda Parts team at OMASCO in Muscat, Oman. The role is responsible for maintaining optimum inventory levels, maximizing parts availability, supporting high customer service levels, and driving inventory efficiency across the business while ensuring operational excellence and profitability. The Inventory Manager owns end-to-end parts planning, procurement, pricing, stock control, inventory reporting, replenishment planning, and aged stock reduction activities. The position works closely with principals, suppliers, sales, logistics, aftersales teams, and the National Parts Manager to ensure seamless parts availability for customers and internal stakeholders. Responsibilities include planning and managing inventory levels, reviewing order recommendations, placing procurement orders with principals and suppliers, monitoring stock movement, months of stock, replenishment requirements, inventory health, and service levels. The role plans initial parts orders for new Honda model launches to ensure launch readiness, supports annual budget planning across multiple business channels, monitors business performance against targets, coordinates ordering plans and execution timelines with principals, and manages parts pricing using pricing matrices, cost-plus pricing, model walk pricing, and periodic cost reviews. The Inventory Manager supports sales through pricing campaigns, bulk discounts, institutional orders, stock allocation, supersession management, alternate parts recommendations, and profitability improvement initiatives. Additional responsibilities include processing principal orders within agreed timelines, coordinating shipments, preparing MIS reports, inventory reports, principal reports, and business performance updates. The role acts as a SAP power user by supporting SAP system improvements, report design, end-user training, and database maintenance while driving continuous improvement initiatives to liquidate ageing inventory through pricing campaigns and write-off proposals where required. The successful candidate requires strong expertise in inventory management, procurement, automotive spare parts planning, supplier ordering, stock replenishment, inventory control, SAP Automotive modules (MM, SD, WM), Syncron demand forecasting, Honda web-based systems, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, MIS reporting, automotive parts, supersessions, replacements, recall parts, pricing strategies, inventory profitability, stock reporting, market trend analysis, customer demand analysis, and commercial performance. The role requires collaboration across sales, logistics, suppliers, aftersales, and principal partners to ensure efficient stock management, operational discipline, business growth, profitability, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement of parts operations.
