Senior Business Analyst – Trade Systems & AI-Native Product Delivery

The Senior Business Analyst serves as the principal interface between business stakeholders, product owners, clients, and delivery teams for the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of trade systems spanning Customs Risk Management, Trade Single Window solutions, Port and Cargo Community Systems, trade portals, regulatory and cross-border platforms, and broader trade and supply-chain ecosystems. The role combines business analysis, product ownership, systems thinking, process modelling, and AI-native delivery practices to translate business needs into engineering-ready solutions. Responsibilities include leading business and functional requirements elicitation, preparing and owning Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirements Specifications (FRSs), Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs), User Story Specifications, Requirements Traceability Matrices (RTMs), and AI-assisted documentation while ensuring governance, quality, traceability, and stakeholder validation. The position requires modelling AS-IS and TO-BE business processes using BPMN and UML, classifying typed demand intake, orchestrating AI skills for requirements analysis and specification generation, validating AI-generated outputs, and acting as the human approval gate before backlog creation. The role operates across conventional business analysis methodologies and AI-native, skill-orchestrated delivery models while collaborating with Product Managers, Context Engineers, Delivery Planners, engineering teams, and geographically distributed stakeholders. Technical expertise includes SQL, workflow systems, MS Visio, Miro, Draw.io, Agile delivery, Scrum, Kanban, project management, change control, APIs, REST, messaging, EDI/EDIFACT, solution architecture, data models, SDLC, Jira, Azure DevOps, API testing, version-controlled documentation, User Acceptance Testing, and engineering collaboration. The role contributes to solution design, interface contracts, configuration, non-functional requirements including performance, security, scalability and auditability, while supporting AI governance, regulatory compliance, trade ecosystem modernization, and continuous product improvement.
