The Senior Planner will support the successful planning, scheduling, monitoring, and control of hyperscale Data Centre construction projects from inception through completion. The role requires implementing project planning and scheduling strategies, procedures, and governance aligned with both company and contractor responsibilities while ensuring compliance with client specifications. Responsibilities include reviewing and assessing Primavera P6 schedules incorporating Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), activities, logic relationships, constraints, resource loading, financial periods, and project sequencing. The successful candidate will perform schedule analysis, forecasting, performance tracking using Earned Value Management metrics including SPI and CPI, integrate multiple contract packages into a comprehensive master schedule, and review contractor-submitted schedules while providing recommendations to the client. The position involves preparing weekly and monthly internal and external progress reports, developing project control procedures, verifying contractor progress data, supporting project management with reliable scheduling insights, preparing mitigation strategies, evaluating Extension of Time (EOT) claims, producing defense claim reports, recommending claim resolutions, analyzing critical paths and project constraints, assessing schedule impacts arising from changes and change orders, developing project resource plans, leveling resource peaks, ensuring vendor, supplier, engineering, and contractor schedule feedback is incorporated into planning systems, coordinating with multidisciplinary project teams to maintain schedule accuracy and completeness, and providing onsite progress measurement and billing verification. Candidates should possess more than 10 years of experience in project planning and scheduling for complex construction projects with demonstrated experience delivering hyperscale Data Centre projects from inception to completion. Expert proficiency is required in Primavera P3, Primavera P5, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI together with expertise in resource loading, cost and schedule integration, baseline management, master schedule development, schedule performance reporting, construction methodologies, contract terms, and PMI project management standards. The role requires the ability to coordinate multiple schedule data sources, organize programme information, deliver comprehensive project and programme status reporting, and provide planning expertise throughout all project phases while contributing value-driven solutions within multidisciplinary project environments.
