Senior Analyst - Data Management

The Senior Analyst - Enterprise Data Management, Backup & Disaster Recovery is responsible for formulating, implementing, administering, and governing enterprise-wide data management policies to ensure efficient utilization of technology resources and adequate protection of company information assets across ADNOC Offshore. The role is accountable for defining project scope, managing execution of data management initiatives, handling project planning activities, resource allocation, budget control, schedule management, and operational oversight while ensuring alignment with business objectives and service level agreements. The position evaluates, implements, customizes, upgrades, and supports Backup Solutions, Backup Technologies, Recovery Solutions, Archive Management platforms, and Data Management systems to meet evolving business requirements. Responsibilities include analyzing business processes, conducting KPI Analysis, identifying information patterns, supporting management decision-making, forecasting future capacity requirements, planning storage growth, optimizing operational performance, simplifying servers and databases, and ensuring production environments meet SLA commitments. The role manages Backup Operations, Recovery Operations, Disaster Recovery planning, Archive Management, Data Protection strategies, and business continuity requirements by formulating enterprise-wide backup and archive policies, maintaining disaster recovery plans, conducting audits and compliance reviews, and implementing technologies that protect against data loss or destruction. The position evaluates and procures Hardware and Software solutions, performs technology assessments, researches emerging tools and technologies, conducts upgrades and testing activities, and ensures successful deployment of data management infrastructure. The role collaborates extensively with application teams, business stakeholders, vendors, consultants, service providers, and government agencies to optimize placement and sizing of data assets, resolve technical issues, support performance management initiatives, and ensure operational excellence. Additional responsibilities include providing first-line support, maintaining user connectivity, managing maintenance and support agreements, monitoring system performance, troubleshooting infrastructure issues, implementing approved policies and procedures, supporting budget preparation, supervising assigned activities, preparing MIS reports, contributing to performance objectives, driving innovation and continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring compliance with ISO standards, HSE requirements, sustainability guidelines, ADNOC Code of Practices, and international standards. The position requires strong expertise in Enterprise Data Management, Data Protection, Backup and Recovery Technologies, Disaster Recovery, Capacity Planning, Storage Management, Performance Analysis, Database Management, Project Management, SLA Management, KPI Analysis, Vendor Management, Audit Compliance, Business Continuity, and IT Infrastructure Operations.
