Director of Finance, Performance & Transformation
by Caliberly in Manufacturing & Industrial Production
This Director of Finance, Performance & Transformation reports directly to the CEO and COO, a reporting line that reflects how central the role is to the organisation's next phase of international growth. Finance & Accounting sits under this leadership remit in full, spanning financial strategy, FP&A, accounting, controls, compliance, treasury, working capital, manufacturing economics, procurement, commercial decision making and finance transformation. You will translate business strategy into annual budgets, rolling forecasts, financial plans, scenarios, KPIs and performance reviews, then deliver reporting on revenue, gross margin, operating costs, cash flow, working capital, inventory and profitability by product, customer, distributor and market. Accounting governance runs in parallel, covering UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, statutory requirements, financial policies, Delegation of Authority and segregation of duties. Product economics and pricing fall squarely within scope too, from unit economics and product P&Ls through to cost optimisation, margin thresholds and structured pricing approval processes. Manufacturing and inventory require reliable landed cost methodologies and accurate valuation across warehouses and financial systems. The finance technology strategy and ERP roadmap belong to this role as well, replacing fragmented spreadsheets with controlled workflows and applying AI across document processing, reconciliations, forecasting and management reporting. Beyond the technical remit, the role leads and develops the existing Finance & Accounting team, redesigning structures and recruiting where gaps exist to build a high performing function with clear accountability and succession depth.
