The Accounts Assistant role at Al-Futtaim Automotive supports Toyota and Lexus Aftersales and Showroom operations in Dubai by ensuring accurate cashiering, revenue processing, accounts receivable tracking, and petty cash management. The role involves daily revenue collection management with same-day deposits using Cash Deposit and Cheque Scanning Machines, posting online customer transfer payments, reconciling collections against outstanding invoices, and maintaining full documentation in line with Standard Operating Procedures and approval levels. The position is responsible for verifying cheque clearances, managing bounced cheques, refunds, pending collections, monitoring petty cash balances, ensuring Delegation of Authority compliant expense processing, and maintaining refund logs. The role also includes reviewing daily and weekly collection reports, coordinating accounts receivable collection meetings, following up with customers, escalating non-responses, managing RTA eWallet daily reconciliations, posting entries in the RTA Cash Journal, supporting cashiers with claim statement submissions, and performing ad hoc financial reports and tasks as directed by the Finance Business Partner, Finance Manager, or Branch Management. The role operates within the Retail Finance team, acting as a critical link between frontline operations and financial reporting while ensuring compliance, accuracy, and operational efficiency across high-volume automotive retail and aftersales environments.
