Graphic Designer - Luxury Hospitality Marketing & Communications
by Fairmont Hotels Middle East in Hotel & Resort Management
The Graphic Designer is responsible for conceptualizing and producing high-quality, on-brand visual content that supports Fairmont Bab Al Bahr's marketing, communications, and revenue objectives. Working closely with the Marketing & Communications team, the role translates campaign briefs, promotional calendars, and outlet requirements into compelling design assets across print, digital, and in-house collateral, ensuring every piece reflects Fairmont's luxury brand identity and Fairmont visual standards. Fairmont Bab Al Bahr is a five-star beachfront luxury hotel at the gateway of Abu Dhabi, with over 360 guest rooms and suites, award-winning dining venues, conference and event facilities, private beach access, swimming pools, fitness facilities, and business, leisure, corporate and social event offerings. The Graphic Designer designs and produces marketing collateral including brochures, flyers, posters, in-room directories, tent cards, menus, wine lists, invitations, and signage for all hotel outlets, including rooms, Food & Beverage, spa, events, and weddings. The role creates digital assets for social media, the hotel website, e-newsletters, EDMs, OTA listings, and digital signage/TV channels, ensuring content is optimized for each platform. The Graphic Designer develops artwork for seasonal promotions and festive campaigns including Ramadan, National Day, New Year, and summer campaigns, as well as outlet-specific activations in coordination with F&B, Spa, and Rooms Division teams. All designs must strictly adhere to Fairmont brand guidelines, corporate identity standards, and applicable local regulatory or cultural requirements. The role liaises with external printers, signage vendors, and production houses to manage print specifications, proofing, quality control, timely delivery, and budget requirements. The Graphic Designer supports basic photo and video shoots for social content, including editing, retouching, and light video editing, while basic photography skills for capturing visual assets are preferred. The role maintains and organizes the hotel's digital asset library, templates, and brand toolkit so they remain accessible to other departments. The Graphic Designer assists with the design and layout of internal communications, colleague engagement materials, training aids, and back-of-house signage. The position coordinates with the Marketing Manager/Director on project timelines and ensures design requests from all departments are prioritized and delivered on schedule. The Graphic Designer stays current with design trends, hospitality marketing best practices, and competitor collateral to introduce fresh creative ideas. The role supports presentations, proposals, and sales kits for Sales, Events, and Catering teams and ensures proper archiving and version control of all design files while maintaining confidentiality of pre-release campaign material. The position requires a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, or a related discipline, with a minimum of 2-3 years of graphic design experience, preferably within a luxury hotel, hospitality group, or agency serving hospitality/lifestyle clients. A strong portfolio demonstrating design range across print and digital media is required at interview stage, while prior experience working with an international hotel brand such as Accor, Fairmont, or similar is an advantage. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, is required, while working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects is a plus. Familiarity with Canva and PowerPoint/Keynote is required for quick-turnaround internal decks and proposals.
