Senior Product Manager - Liabilities & Cash

The Senior Product Manager - Liabilities & Cash is responsible for leading the strategic development, commercialization, governance and lifecycle management of the Bank's institutional liability and cash management portfolio, forming the foundation of the Bank's funding strategy, liquidity growth and transaction banking business. The role oversees Corporate Banking Group (CBG) and Large Business Group (LBG) liability and cash management solutions including Current Accounts, CASA, Call Accounts, Wakala, Mudaraba, Escrow and comprehensive Cash Management services. The position is accountable for strengthening the Bank's funding mix, increasing low-cost deposits, enhancing liquidity efficiency, optimizing fee income, expanding foreign exchange (FX) revenues and driving transactional banking growth through Sharia-compliant, customer-centric and technology-enabled solutions. Working closely with Treasury, Risk, Legal, Compliance, Operations, Information Technology, Relationship Managers, Segment Heads, Marketing and Sharia stakeholders, the incumbent develops innovative liability products and transaction banking solutions that align with business strategy, regulatory requirements and Islamic banking principles while supporting sustainable revenue generation. Key responsibilities include developing and executing deposit growth strategies across Corporate and Institutional Banking clients, increasing CASA and Wakala balances, optimizing product pricing models, tiering structures and liquidity mix in partnership with Treasury, introducing differentiated customer propositions and sector-specific product features, monitoring monthly performance dashboards covering deposit growth, spreads, product profitability and funding performance, and recommending corrective commercial actions where required. The role drives transactional revenue growth by increasing customer adoption of payments, collections, liquidity management, liquidity sweeping and account services while partnering with Treasury to integrate Foreign Exchange (FX) solutions into transaction banking propositions. Responsibilities include identifying high-value customer segments, expanding fee-based income through bundled banking solutions, reviewing pricing strategies, improving margins and maintaining competitive market positioning. The position leads commercialization initiatives by launching targeted campaigns to increase CASA balances, operating accounts, FX transaction volumes and customer activation, collaborating with Relationship Managers, Segment Heads and Marketing teams to develop sector-focused and seasonal campaigns supported by measurable return on investment (ROI), marketing collateral, sales toolkits and customer communication materials. Governance responsibilities include ensuring full compliance with Sharia principles, regulatory requirements and internal risk frameworks across all liability and cash management products, maintaining Product Program Guides (PPGs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), process documentation and version control, coordinating approvals with internal stakeholders, responding to regulatory observations and ensuring transparent governance throughout product design, pricing, commercialization and execution. The role continuously improves customer experience by reducing onboarding Turnaround Time (TAT), simplifying account opening processes through workflow optimization and digital transformation initiatives, streamlining mandates, documentation and approval workflows in collaboration with Operations and IT, enhancing customer journeys, monitoring customer feedback and service Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and implementing continuous service improvements. The position requires extensive expertise in Islamic liability structures, deposit products, transaction banking, cash management, product governance, treasury collaboration, regulatory compliance, data analytics, reporting, product pricing, stakeholder management and Sharia-compliant banking. The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Business or Finance, preferably supported by postgraduate qualifications or specialist certifications, together with 10-15 years of experience in corporate product management, liabilities or transaction banking, a proven record of driving CASA growth and fee income optimization, expertise in Escrow product management and regulatory liaison, and extensive exposure to UAE and GCC Islamic banking markets.
