The Territory Manager – Orthopaedic Joints Clinical Sales role at Johnson & Johnson MedTech in Abu Dhabi covering Al Ain is responsible for driving clinical sales performance and supporting orthopaedic surgical procedures through direct engagement with surgeons and healthcare professionals. The role operates within the MedTech division focused on developing innovative healthcare solutions at the intersection of biology and technology, delivering smarter, less invasive, and more personalized treatments across the healthcare spectrum. Within the Orthopaedics business unit, the role contributes to solutions related to joint reconstruction, trauma and craniomaxillofacial, sports medicine, extremities, elective foot and ankle procedures, spine, robotics, and digital surgery. The Territory Manager supports healthcare systems and surgeons by ensuring clinical and economic value while contributing to patient mobility outcomes for millions of individuals treated annually through orthopaedic technologies. The position requires attending joints surgeries in operating theatres, providing direct surgical procedure support to surgeons and nurses, and ensuring optimal clinical assistance during operations involving orthopaedic joints products. The role is responsible for achieving quarterly and annual business plans and increasing Joints market share within the Al Ain territory while maintaining strong relationships with healthcare professionals. Responsibilities include assisting in selling orthopaedic joint reconstruction products to surgeons and operating room professionals, supporting execution of clinical sales activities, and ensuring deliverables are delivered with accuracy, timeliness, and quality. The Territory Manager demonstrates extensive product knowledge and procedural knowledge of orthopaedic technologies and surgical workflows, while also supporting new product introduction initiatives. The role requires documenting and maintaining customer account information, managing account management activities, setting up reporting mechanisms to monitor the sales pipeline, and adhering to company reporting systems and compliance processes. The position also contributes to the development and execution of Clinical Sales – Surgeons area implementation plans, supports sales activities across different territories when required, and collaborates with the broader UAE Joints team to capture key opportunities and expand clinical adoption of orthopaedic products. The role requires expertise in clinical sales operations, operating theatre procedures, market research, market knowledge, solutions selling, sales training, vendor selection processes, sustainable procurement considerations, and objectives and key results (OKRs) performance tracking while supporting the expansion of orthopaedic medical device adoption within the healthcare ecosystem.
