The Legal Counsel (GCC Focus) role supports the Legal Director in executing the organisation’s legal strategy across multiple GCC jurisdictions, with primary responsibility for Employment and HR advisory, disputes and litigation management, commercial contracts, and regulatory compliance. The role drafts and maintains standardized employment contracts across the GCC, advises HR on terminations, disciplinary actions, and employee disputes, and ensures company policies comply with evolving labour laws. The position manages disputes, litigation, complaints, and regulatory inquiries, acts as the main liaison with external counsel, and conducts internal investigations including fact-finding and evidence collection. The role also drafts, reviews, negotiates, and standardizes commercial agreements such as vendor contracts, partnership agreements, technology licensing, and service agreements, while supporting high-value and strategic negotiations. Additionally, the role monitors and summarizes regulatory developments across real estate, mortgage, and financial sectors in the UAE, KSA, and wider GCC, providing day-to-day cross-border legal advisory support to business units in a fast-paced FinTech and PropTech environment.
